Effective date: September 17, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs all use of the voice, SIP trunking, telephone number, caller ID and related communications services (the "Services") provided by Broad Cast Media Ventures LLC ("Broadcast MV," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP applies to every customer, end user, and anyone who accesses the Services through a customer account (each, a "Customer"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service at https://broadcastmv.com/terms. By using the Services, you agree to this AUP.
The Services may be used only for lawful business communications with existing customers and with consumers who have provided the consent required by law. Customers are solely responsible for all traffic sent through their accounts and for compliance with all applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR), the TRACED Act, the Truth in Caller ID Act, FCC rules, and all applicable state telemarketing, robocall, and privacy laws.
Telemarketing calls require the called party's prior express written consent as required by the TCPA and FCC rules.
Customers must keep consent records for every contact, including at minimum the consent source, date and timestamp, and IP address or other capture evidence, and must produce them to us promptly on request.
Consent obtained for one seller may not be used by another seller. Purchased, rented, or shared lead lists without valid consent for the calling party are prohibited.
Calls using an automatic telephone dialing system, prerecorded message, artificial voice, or AI-generated voice are not permitted on the Services without our prior written approval. Where we approve such calls, the Customer must have obtained all consent required by law and must provide a working, automated opt-out mechanism as required by FCC rules. Opt-out requests must be honored immediately.
Customers must scrub all telemarketing call lists against the National Do Not Call Registry and all applicable state Do Not Call lists before calling.
Customers must maintain and honor an internal (company-specific) Do Not Call list and process every do-not-call or opt-out request within the time required by law.
Customers must comply with all federal and state calling-hour restrictions.
Customers may display only caller ID numbers that they own or are expressly authorized to use, and that are assigned to them through the Services or properly documented to us.
Spoofing, meaning transmitting misleading or inaccurate caller ID information with intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value, is prohibited.
Customers must not rotate or cycle caller ID numbers to evade call blocking, labeling, or analytics.
Customers may not use the Services to:
Place illegal robocalls or any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, or abusive calls;
Engage in traffic pumping, access stimulation, International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF), false answer supervision (FAS), wangiri ("one ring") schemes, or any other artificial traffic generation;
Engage in call blasting, or generate excessive volumes of short-duration or unanswered calls;
Impersonate any person, business, or government agency;
Transmit traffic on behalf of any party that has been blocked, suspended, or terminated by another provider for unlawful calling;
Resell or route third-party traffic through the Services without our prior written approval;
Violate any applicable law, regulation, or carrier rule, or interfere with our network or any other network.
We cooperate fully with the Industry Traceback Group (ITG), carriers, law enforcement, and regulators. Customers must cooperate fully with any traceback request or investigation and must respond to traceback requests with complete call-origination information within 24 hours. Failure to respond is a material breach of this AUP.
We may monitor traffic patterns, call duration, answer rates, complaint data, and analytics labels to detect violations. We may, at our discretion and with or without notice, block calls, suspend or terminate the Services, withhold or remove numbers, and report violations to the appropriate authorities. Customers are responsible for all fines, penalties, carrier charges, and damages arising from their violations.
